I can't decide if I should order the GOG version or not. If the DVD version has DRM I guess I'll get the GOG version.

If the DVD version is the Enhanced Edition, there's no DRM. The original release had Tages DRM, but you could patch it to the Enhanced Edition to remove it as well. In any case, you'd get a CD key on the retail release that you should be able to get a GOG copy with.

I think the North American version of the Enhanced Edition still had DRM, but like Grilledfish said, you can immediately patch it out. Also, you can use this tool to get a free backup copy of the game on GOG. So if you wanted, you could buy the DVD for the physical extras, then activate it on GOG and download the GOG version to actually play the game, ensuring that you don't have any DRM. You'd never have to use the physical discs (but you would have to download the installer, which is very large).
