I'm having one big problem, i can't defeat Jarved. I have one save before the 2 big guys then Jarved, i have 17 mins left on swallow and 19 mins on willow, the thing is i can't kill him in the time i have got, also you would think, "why doesn't he just make another swallow", the thing is i have not got the ingredients for it. I have ran all the way back to Old Visima and got to Kalstine and he only has one of the ingredients i need.

Oh i forgot to mention I'm at nearly half intoxication, can anyone help me, i have been to all the help sites and they can't help me. Is it possible to kill him without swallow, I have died so many time that i have started witcher 2 , I realty want to import my save game..

One thing that helped me in this fight was realizing that the Strong Style actually works on Javed. From his fighting stance he looked like those types of enemies who need to be fought with the Fast Style, but turns out you can use the Strong Style on him to do a lot more damage to him, faster. That might help a little.

Without the right potions this fight can be a real pain. Swallow and Tawny Owl are essential to survive, and don't neglect your signs either - Aard and Yrden do a pretty good job in this fight if I recall.
