I'm just starting the game. The initial cutscene just shows the loading screen and the cutscene after the fight at the beginning just shows the what amounts to a stretched screenshot. Has anyone come across this before?

You could try going into advanced options and lowering the level of 'lighting quality'.

No difference. it's not a factor of stuttering. The cutscences just don't display at all.


EDIT: Ok ... I have found what the problem is. It appears to not like working in windowed mode. Put it in full screen and the cutscenes work.

Personally, as I have a multiscreen setup, I prefer running windowed mode. But it's a start. Has anyone else found issues running windowed?

Regarding your question, i actually think some folks have solved some of their issues by running it windowed, but your multiscreen setup might be the differentiating factor.

People who suffer regular crashes have reported that running in windowed mode helps. I wonder if the game is actually taking issue with your multiple-monitor setup?
