I doubt there are more fixes here compared to other retail/digital copies.
Only thing as a bonus here is the calendar I think, no stuff in the form of patches and fixes.

The GOG version is basically just the full game patched up to 1.5, without censorship. It's functionally equivalent to the fully patched retail version with the director's cut patch. There's not really any reason for you to buy a second copy, because any issues you have will likely still be there. That said, you can still try this forum, or the official Witcher forum, for fixes to the speed bug.
