I am in the swamp cemetery, inside the striga crypt, in front of the Wayfarer's Stone (I joined the Order), and I use the combination "Aard - Aard - Igni", but it happens NOTHING when I do it...it is strange because I have seen videos in youtube of people doing this and it works, I have tried other combinations just to see what happens and I even do NOT get a text telling me that the combination is wrong...

any ideas? what should I do?

The problem can be that the game counts signs you may have cast a considerable distance from the wayfarer's stone. (to kill a monster or something) as the first sign of the sequence.
Try meditating at the fire to clear things and try again.
And have you got subtitles turned on?

Hey, it worked!!! I had subtitles turned off, so I was not able to see the message when the sequence finished.
