Do you use any cheats, mods, scripts etc. ?

Do you try to use signs during the save time before 9 p.m.?

If you are at the very beginning of the game, you need to learn the signs by finding places of power. By the end of the prologue you will be able to cast the first sign; the rest will come in the following chapters.

If you already know them, remember that you need to have enough vigor (the yellow bar below your vitality/hit points/red bar) to use them. Your vigor must be over the limit marked by a notch in the bar (or two notches, if you have unlocked the enhanced version of the sign).

Also, you can only cast signs in "dangerous" zones, where combat is allowed. In safe zones (e.g. most cities during daytime) you cannot draw your swords or use signs.

Did you rediscover your signs meanwhile, supplementscene?

So it was nothing but another typical pebcak case?

For some reason they came back to life when I re-entered the crypt and they seemed to turn off when fighting in not crypt environments

I've realised when they are off, now at least, I can pause game and select the sign I want and then I can use it. I don't know why but at times it shuts the sign off. But that solves it so hopefully that helps anyone playing this in 2019.

Great game and story though and I've grown to enjoy the combat
