Hello

I'm using the GOg version of Witcher Enhanced Edition (1st Witcher, not Assassin of Kings)
I'm on Windows 7 64bits pro

I cannot take screenshots from the game. There is no built in game key for that; and usually i use a program that allows taking screenshots of either windowed or fullscreen programs (it is called XNview).
I even tried to use the basic PrintScreen key.

Either i dont get anything, or in best case i get a completely black picture of my witcher screen resolution.

I searched the forum so far for any screenshot problem of answer with the search engine of the forum and failed to find anything.

I really would appreciate any help

(and yes, i know, i'm asking a question about 1st Witcher in those days when everyone is playing the 3rd one...)

That is what this forum is for; despite the several threads in here asking questions about Wild Hunt, this specific forum is meant to be for the first game only. So, you are in the right place. =)

As to your question, I have no advice, unfortunately; hopefully a screenshot-junkie will find this topic and be able to help you.
My recommendation is that you try MSI Afterburner which can be downloaded here:

gaming.msi.com/features/afterburner

The software contains a very comprehensive screen capture tool, you can even configure it to screen capture games not utilizing DirectX/Direct3D. There should be no trouble for MSI Afterburner to work on the Witcher Enhanced Edition.
