I recently installed the game and on my laptop it cannot start at all. I click on Play on GOG Galaxy and it shows "Warning: Minimum Requirements are not met." or something. The game tries to start, but it closes silently. No error messages, nothing. Tried to run it from the shortcut, still nothing. Verified the game's installation, nothing. I don't know why it's happening. And The Witcher 2 was working fine (albeit slow).

System Specs:
Intel Core i3 2328M @ 2.20Ghz
Intel HD Graphics 3000
8GB RAM
Windows 10 Pro, Version 1607 (Build 14393.969)
1TB HDD

Try the listed fix here.

Bypassing Minimum System Requirements: The game won't start because it thinks you're below the minimum system requirements.

EDIT: Check this link for several solutions to the problem:
http://lc-games.com/the-witcher-minimum-system-requirements-not-met-workaround

1) Create a shortcut to witcher.exe (the actual witcher.exe file, NOT the game's launcher!). Go to the shortcut's Properties window, then alter the "target" field as follows. Change "c:\blah\blah\witcher.exe" to "c:\blah\blah\witcher.exe" -dontforceminreqs. Make sure the last part is OUTSIDE the quotes, and there is a space between the quotes and the part you added. The run the game via this shortcut.

EDIT: Note that this fix will limit the graphics options, potentially making the game look pretty bad.
