I have a new PC running Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, and I thought I'd fire up The Witcher, since I've never really played it much. Anyway, I got the "minimum requirements" dialog which I knew couldn't be right.
I read on the forums here about the -dontforceminreqs switch. The game launches, but I get a black screen. I can hear the opening videos, but no picture. After getting past them, I get a cursor, but still no picture. I can hear the menu as I move the cursor over it.
I've also tried the DirectDraw registry fix, without the switch, and get the same result.
Any way to fix this?
