I have downloaded and installed the Witcher game. There was no abnormal procedure message either in download r initiation of game. My mouse cursor will not display in the game, nor in the game titles. If I move my mouse, eventually some menu choice is highlighted. I am running Windows 8; NVidia GE Force GTX-770; on a ACPI x64 based PC, with MS USB wheel Mouse Optical.

If I remember right you hold the shift button and it'll show. Quite a common glitch. :)

I have just purchesed witcher enhanced edition dvd version. After initially starting to play game with no problem next day
game lauched with no mouse curser. none of fixes reported on forum worked. pressing shift or various other keys etc
playing intro to end. new mouse etc. only fix found is to reboot my computer sometimes works with 1 reboot most taken to date is 3 reboots
I have noticed that a hand cursor apears briefly on black screen before initial title with good launch. this does not apear with with no cursor launch. win7 pro I7 proc 16mb ram. gr5aphic Radion R9 200
