Hello! This isn't a huge, gamebreaking bug or anything but...There's this mildly frustrating glitch with this fellow's beard that, for the life of me, I can't figure out how to fix. If you notice, there's some mismatched brightness between the skin at the top of the mustache and the rest of his face.

It's extremely minor and all, however, I've seen this between both an Nvidia and AMD card, which leaves me clueless as to what's going on. I'd assumed maybe it was a minor driver quirk with the AMD card originally, but seeing that it's persisted with a card swap over to Nvidia, I'm not sure what to think.

As a note, the card's an upgrade over what I had (AMD Radeon HD 7570 to Nvidia GeForce GTX 650 [I know, not exactly a huge upgrade but you work within your budget]), so it's not as though I've downgraded. When it comes to settings, I've the relevant ones all upped to the max (relevant being lighting/texture/model/shadows/etc.) and still get this oddity.

You mean how it looks like there's a seam where his mustache connects to his face? I think that's just how the model looks. I've got screenshots spanning 5 years and 3 different systems and he always looks like that in all of them.

Just combing through Google image searches of the Reverend here and he looks like that in all of them I've seen.

So let me ask you this: have you ever NOT seen him looking like that?

Honestly no...Come to think of it, I probably should have looked him up via image search as well, but it's all in hindsight now. The reason I thought it might have a fix was mainly because I've encountered basically the exact same issue in another game and it seemed like with a graphics card upgrade it was resolved, which is why I guessed as I did in my OP that there may be some little tweak or somesuch I was missing.

Seems that may not have been entirely the case after all. Thanks for sharing your experience with this as well, makes me feel much better knowing it's not all necessarily on my end! It can be hard to tell with these things at times. =)
You could maybe try installing the hi-res characters pack (unofficial mod), though it probably wouldn't help much, might even make it more noticeable.
