I could not find any option to change the game language to english in-game (my system is set to german). Is there any way to change the language except the workaround with changing the system locale? That messes with my system in many ways and always causes lots of trouble with some other programs. And not having an english language version of the game available is a "no go" for me. I read that there is an external language selector for the other Walking Dead games, if that is true are there any plans to make such a tool for Michonne, too?
Okay, I searched around and found a way to deal with this problem myself (Windows 7 64-bit), so just in case anyone else has this problem:

1) Search for the registry key under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\GOG.com\Games\ where
"GAMENAME"="The Walking Dead: Michonne - A Telltale Miniseries"
2) Add a string "LanguageID" with value "1033"

The game now always starts in english independent of the system settings.
I've tried this solution, but it didn't work for me. I'm still stuck with Russian language. So - will there be a language selector for this game anytime soon?
Didn't work for me too (Windows 10). The only way that works is to change Locale for Non-Unicode programs in Regional Settings. Thisis very annoying that I'm not able just to choose language I want in game or in Galaxy.
Doesn't work here either (Windows 10).
Thanks Telltale, once again...
Doesn't work for me on Win 7 either. Never had this problem before, this is really stupid. What the hell, Telltale.
Got the same problem, Win10 64 in German, want to play in English.

PS: I found a workaround with a system language emulator.
I think it's absolutely aweful of TellTale that we have to resort to third party software for this, but what can you do, it's not like we paid money to play their games. OH WAIT, that's exactly what we did! F***ing hell.

Anyway, here's a program that did the job for me: github. com/ xupefei/Locale-Emulator/releases (remove spaces, the forums won't let me post links).

What you need to do then is go to Control Panel > Region > choose Administrative Tab > in section for non-Unicode programs change system locale to chosen language (English in your case).

Solution found in the Batman Telltale forum (yes, same problem with all Telltale games..). It works fine, doesn't change the language of the system. Just need to reboot once.

Shame on you GOG and Telltale.
