Hi everyone!
So, I bought TWD: Definitive Series and after selecting an Episode the game is stuck at the loading screen.
It doesn't matter what episode I choose, what resolution I'm selecting. I tried windowed and full screen, I put the graphic options on maximum and minimum.
I redownloaded it 3 times.
Started the games .exe file. Set the compatibility to Win7/8. Launched it as administrator. Still the same...

I have the current graphic drivers installed.

The WDC.exe uses 0,1%cpu and 291mb ram

My Specs:
AMD Ryzen 5 3600
16gb RAM
5700XT
Win10

Maybe someone has an idea.
Thanks!!!!!

There could be something wrong in either the configuration file or in the save game data.

I suggest you to try deleting the following directories (after making a backup copy, if needed):
- %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Telltale Games\The Walking Dead The Telltale Definitive Series\ (configuration);
- %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Telltale Games\TWDTTDS\ (save game data).
The files you mentioned, are not on my PC. There isn't even a folder named TELLTALE GAMES or TWDTTDS...

That's very strange. I don't own the Definitive Edition and I can't check it for you, but I suspect that this is not normal at all and that this misbehavior could be related to the issue you are experiencing: the game should definitely create a configuration file upon launch (you said you even selected different video options).
I got it.

Windows Security didn't inform me, the for some reason the WDC.EXE is quarantined...
So I just had to allow "WDC.EXE"...

Still, its funny, that Windows10 automaticly quarantines The Walking Dead.... :)

This explains why the game was unable to create any configuration file.

Did your antivirus quarantine the executable of the game?
If the answer is no, then you should provide more information about your problem with the game and about your system.
If the answer is yes, let me say that this is not normal at all. Please, before doing anything else, check carefully your system for any virus. If you are sure that your computer is not infected, you can restore the executable file from quarantine: the exact procedure depends on your antivirus. If you are using Windows Defender, you can read a guide here.

Just in case anyone is still struggling with this - what made it work for me (after doing everything i found online with zero effect) was to launch the exe file directly from the game folder and run it as administrator.
