Hi! Now that The Universim has reached 1.0, I'm planning to buy it, but I don't know if the GOG version is updated as the Steam version is. In its official website the game is not even listed as available through GOG.

According to the steam news, they released hotfix #4 today, and I just logged into galaxy and universim updated to a new version.
