bastoGrande: can you tell me, where the savegames are placed, when I install games by the play.it scripts?
You should find them in ~/.local/share/games/the-talos-principle/

thank you!

in the meanwhile I solved the (File signature verification failed)-error. It was a problem with my filesystem(ext4). So I just did a check & repair after a reboot and it now it works like a charm again..

Care to elaborate?
What was it?
Block device corruption?
Journal issues?
Case (in-)sensitivity?

Did you use fsck or something else?

For fsck, based on VERY short research I found those:
https://askubuntu.com/questions/112907/where-are-fsck-results-logged-at-boot-time-after-forcefsck
https://serverfault.com/questions/267546/how-to-check-fsck-results-ran-at-boot-on-remote-machine
tho for more comprehensive log verbosity further research is required.
