Those DLLs are needed by IndirectSound (dsound.dll) which is used to fix game's sound problems which typically occur on modern systems due to the way game is coded. The correct way to acquire them is to install
Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86). Those 64-bit files you put in the game's folder won't work because the game is 32-bit, so delete them.
Alternatively, also delete dsound files from the game folder and apply The Suffering AiO Patch, which fixes a number of issues with the game, including sound problems. It's got a small visual bug with weapon/item icons when you scroll through your inventory, we haven't figured how to fix that, it's an unintended side effect that happens when increasing field of view for modern wide monitors. See
this thread on VOGONS for details. The thread for the patch is also on this forum, but I haven't got around updating it yet with latest information.
Actually, the second solution is better overall. AFAIK, the version of IndirectSound that is included is older and has the tendency to crash the game occasionally. And the visual bug I mentioned is also present in unpatched GOG version, though it doesn't happen in unpatched retail version. Overall, 99% of things work better with the patch.
