I was forced to update this game (because of the constant crashing) with the fan patch but that ruined my game save. So now I'm very bummed out, bordering on depressed, since my game save was deleted/made unusable. I guess that's what happened because the game won't even detect my game saves.

How can I cheat to get back to where I was? Is it possible? I was really enjoying the game but I just can't replay everything I already played. Just can't do it.
