Anyone with an Nvidia card get a driver update today that broke your game? I'm getting really bad tearing and slow gameplay that makes the game unplayable. RIP

I dunno about situation at whole, but

1) Its Unity game, which is making system req.s to skyrocket and even with decent hardware game micro-freezes a lot.

2) On Linux there is confirmed performance degradation for Nvidia since 375 driver version - https://www.gamingonlinux.com/articles/nvidia-has-confirmed-a-driver-bug-resulting-in-a-loss-of-performance-on-linux.10804
They hope to fix it in version 390

The problem is I have been playing at a solid 40-50fps since before yesterday, and then I updated to the newest driver and it screwed everything up. So idk what's going on. Pretty dissapointing as I was almost to the end of the game.

Just revert to older driver?
Turning on V-Sync fixed it. V-Sync was never on before, so thats weird, but all is well now!
