Is there a way to use alobby's s3ce.exe (for widescreen res support) with this GOG version? I've used the regs.cmd which works when running normally with s3.exe but it keeps asking for serial number again whenever I run using s3ce.exe. Or is there a better way for bug fixes and widescreen res support?

yes. The aLobby works without problems with the S3 GOG version. But: it is only possible to have one GOG or CD version installed at a time. Otherwise you get problems - like getting asking for CD keys all the time (and not only once).
