The original S2Gold came bundled with 130 fanmade maps for the unlimited play mode. Those maps are missing from the GOG version. However, since I do have my S2G cd around, I've decided to upload and share them:

Just put the .swd files in WORLDS directory of your S2G instalation and you're set to go. I especially recommend the Ohne Namen series from "Niemand".

For 10th Anniversary users, I think there was a map converter you could use but it's been a while since I played that.

You can load these maps in S2-10th too, but you have to convert them first with the S2-10th map editor (included with gog version)

Just run the editor, open the settlers2 map you want to convert, and then use 'save as' to store it in S2-10th format.

one remark I have to make:
Map editor does not work when it's installed in "C:\Program files(x86)" , it's an issue caused by the UAC protecting that directory. The GOG version installs in an other location by default, so it should not have that problem, but if you installed from the original cd, the game might be in that location.

And can you upload "world atlas" which is included gold version?
