I love this game, loved it since the original and think the remake is great.
Bought it at the GOG.com store yesterday and been playing ever since, but for some reason the online multiplayer doesn't work at all.

Tried the "Change CD-Key" thing and added my own CD-Key (from the GOG.com store), but all I get is an error saying "unknown cd-key" when I click on the create account thingie.

Anybody else have this problem?
Is the servers shut down?
Is there a fix for this?

the official servers are offline, as it says on the gamecard description:

"Multiplayer notice: The game's multiplayer servers have been taken offline"

you can do multiplayer lan play (over internet), but you have to find people to play with yourself.

To play this game in Multiplayer worldwide, Gameranger is needed. That's the only way for today.
