As the topic title says, i can't see any picture at all after launching Settlers Hok. I can hear the Ubisoft logo video, another video after that and i can hear the menu screen background music. If i alt-tab out of the application and back again i can see the menu for a split-second but the image goes back to blank inmediately.

In short, the game is running but i get no picture, just a blank screen.

Fun thing is that the retail version worked alright in this same machine a few months ago. The only difference hardware-wise is that i replaced the hard drive a few weeks ago.

My specs:

Windows 7 Home premium 64-bit
Athlon X4 640 OC at 3.4 Ghz
4 Gigs DDR3 ram
ATI Radeon HD4200

All drivers are up-to-date, both the motherboard and the videocard. Settings in the ATI control center are set to default.

Thing i have tried so far:

Running the game as Administrator.
Running on Windows XP compatibility mode (SP3 and SP2).
Disabling Themes.
Disabling Transparency.

So far no results, is there anything i'm missing?

What should i try next before sending a ticket to our wonderful tech support staff?
