When I click on the Start button on GOG, it grey's out, but nothing has happend.
after checking the Task Manager I saw that a proces called siedler3 is taking up some memory.
That proces links to the exe file "S3.EXE" this means its still running.

After some time checking the forums of gog I found this "Settlers 3 Ultimate Collection, Not launching, Justing eating up CPU memory".
People said that it worked, and I have the same problem.
only I dont understand it really because I have not file called "winmm.dll" only "_inmm.dll".
I tried changing that to the suggested rename "x-winmm.dll" (also tried "x-_inmm.dll)
after these changes it refuses to start.

I've also verified and repaired my download using GOG galaxy.

can someone help maybe?

No, I am not. just HP pavillion laptop.

Also I've found out that I can I play The Settlers 3 when just go to installation folder and open S3.EXE.
So the game works, only thing that doesn't work is GOG opening the game by itself.

Looks like Galaxy is opening a different exe, or it's opening s3.exe but with some parameters.

I don't use Galaxy (and don't have Settlers 3 on GOG), but can you figure out which file is it opening?

I've download Microsoft's Process Explorer, here you can see which parameters a running program has.
The running program is called "Siedler3"
It runs without any parameters
Path: "C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Settlers 3 Ultimate\S3.exe"
Command Line: "C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Settlers 3 Ultimate\s3.exe"

Also when I use the function "bring to front", the Process Explorer gives and error:
"No visible windows found for this process"

I've asked the question trough the GOG Galaxy support, maybe they can help with my issue.
