original post: is it possible to play the game in its original language, german? on the gamecard it only says english but well lets say i still have hope :D

Well, i bought it today, but it's english only. the only thing one can do is change the text language of the game using a little .exe file. choices are english, german, polish and french.

Edit:

i did some work and made a .rar package for the german voice over and videos, if anyone is interested I can upload them.

just point the installer to your "The Settlers 3 - Ultimate Collection" directory.

i hope i didnt overlook anything important. if something is missing tell me and i will see if i can fix it. if your computer catches fire its not my fault. tell me if it worked.

the file is online again as an installer and now additionally includes all texts in german, so you dont need the polish installer anymore.

there are still some minor things left like english credits, manual, mapnames etc, i might change these in the future, but for now I'm quite satisfied.

Yeah really thank you. Just what I've been looking for. Would have felt wrong to play Siedler in english.
