When I see some youtubers play thru settlers 2, it's really lovely looking. Full screen, 1920x1080 or higher, wide screen. Nothing is stretched or anything.

How did they get that?. Would I need another edition?. I have the Gold edition.

I finally found the more advanced settings for the graphics of the game
(When in the GOG launcher, click "more" besides the play button, and then "Other", and "Graphics mode setup".)
There I can change some things to make it a little better maybe, but still it doesn't show in wide screen.

I am a little lost, just trying whatever, any know what id specific need to change there?. Or other edition?.

never mind, i think i figured it out. and why i am not getting exact results i want, must be because i am on old low res monitor compared to these days.

The one id want for HD is "The Settlers History Collection" it seems. if i want it all like i seen on youtube.
