I tend to really like deep management sims, as such, I was considering getting Settlers 2 this week. Today I come to the site to see that they now offer Settlers 3. So, my question to you, the gog.com community is, what are the significant differences between the two?

I've never played either game, so, which should I start with, and why?

Edit: Also, it's important that it works well with Win 7. So if one of them works better with Win 7 than the other, that would be awesome info to know.

Thanks!

I think S2 is better. It is less difficult, less abstract, has less micromanagement, yet is more engaging.

Sorry for a post 2 months later. :D
What should I get, Settlers 2 or Settlers 2 10th Anniv. Edition? Is it worth having both?
