Well, go into your library, click on the game, click on more and then on Serial Number, that`s where the SN should be.

The key you'd get from there is invalid anyway. Instead, go to your Settlers III directory and run "regs.cmd" as administrator.

Lol. It is a valid key. If the one you've got is not valid, then contact GOG to get a valid one, as everyone else got a valid one.

The entire format of the key I got is quite wrong. Luckily the registry script that comes with the game resolved my issue.
