Hi All,

I have just purchased S3 today through GOG and am looking to play online with some friends. I have read posts about Hamachi and aLobby and am having no luck with either.

Hamachi, i have created a network and my friend can connect but I do not know the next steps to play the game.

On aLobby, when I try and start a game i get the error "CreateProcess error=740, The requested operation requires elevation"

I have also tried through GameRanger but my friend just receives "Waiting for Host" and no progress. I have added exceptions in firewall for all settlers applications and processes.

Can anyone help

have you opened the game-related ports on your router?

I've opened the ports as per the other advice I have found on the site in the link below

The error "CreateProcess error=740, The requested operation requires elevation" most probably means, that you have to start the aLobby as administrator.

Thanks for the advice, this got rid of the error.

When it loads up Settlers, i get the error "please enter CD-1 Rom" and then it kicks me out of the game. I have tried setting the link to my game as the "S3.exe" and "S3_Multi.exe"
