Just bought Settlers 4 Gold Edition on GOG, and it wont run on my laptop, all the other settlers games run fine.

This is the error i get: See Pic.

Can anyone help please?

(I have tried downloading the dgvoodoo2 and extracting it to the right folder etc. but it dont help)

i just tried to follow the instruction and i successfully avoided the 3D-error you mentioned. but now i have the problem that the game asks me for the CD to start the game :/

any idea how to fix this?

i bought this game on GOG and i disabled my UAC in windows10.

You can find the Key at your library under the more button (on the website).

I would appreciate if the games I buy on GOG just WORK without any additional stuff I have to go through with every single game ...
Patch doesnt work for me either. Same with Gothic 1 and 2. I am so sick of this.

Gog isn't letting me post a link right now, so instead do an Internet search for elishacloud settlers iv. Go to the github page (which should be the first hit).

Download the .zip package, which has three little files. As directed, place these in the directory with S4_Main.exe (NOT S4.exe). You may not have to change the compatibility settings. Try the game without that step first.
