I have installed game The Settlers 3 - Ultimate Collection on GOG Galaxy 2.0.71 and when i click the "play button
" nothing happens. What can be a problem?

I'm having the same problem with Settlers 2 Gold edition. I'm wondering whether it's an issue with the emulator, dosbox on Windows 11?

Well, you could try Dosbox staging, but you'll either need to convert or discard the config file, since Staging uses UTF-8 instead of CPG-487 or whatever GOG used for some baffling reason.

Hi, I have the same problem :)

I found the solution that worked for me in a previous post.

Go to gog.com and sign in and select the settlers 3 game from your collection. Beneath the "Download and Install Now" blue button, select the "Download Offline Backup Game Installers" option. Download the file, install it (apparently overwrites your previous install) and once complete the game should now launch from the GOG app.

When you try to start your first mission or tutorial or whatever, you will be asked for a serial number. Enter 8086-8331-2174-3934-5006

All done.
