I've already asked about this kind of but I'm still stuck here. Settlers 3 Amazon where you have to destroy a temple and produce 500 units of mana. The temple is long gone, I've got 4 of my own, six small ones, 20 + priestesses, five mead makers and yet the mission won't end. What am I doing wrong?
Got it. 14 small temples and 7 or 8 large later I got it. They should make it a little easier to tell how you are making up mana in this game. Still love it to death but I guess nothing is perfect. WHEW!
Well, Mana slowly builds up with every sacrifice made in the small temples. More small temples don't do shit unless you can keep them supplied with mead, wine or whatever you produce, in which case Mana builds up faster of course.

In contrast to that, large temples increase your Mana by a certain amount after their construction is complete. That 'bonus' decreases with every large temple errected. Building more than two is generally a waste.
