When I try to launch The Saboteur, I get the following error message:
"The Saboteur is unable to continue due to an error initializing your graphics hardware."
I have a Radeon 4870, which I thought was above the minimum requirements. A cursory Internet search shows other people with the same problem, but no solutions. Are there any workarounds to get the game running, or do just need to shelve it until I finally upgrade my computer?

I get this same problem using Radeon R7 graphics.

All GOG's suggestions have been unsuccessful so far.

Shame, this game looked like it had real promise and I've liked all of Pandemics other games.

Hi there,

had the same issue. Along with all the DirectX stuff during the installation that failed to install.
I went do the Saboteur directory "\GalaxyClient\Games\The Saboteur" and ran VideoSetup.exe manually. Everything maxed out and the right screen resolution and after that i was able to start the game with a doubleclick on Saboteur.exe. Did the trick and the game started without any issues so far.

I have the same issue but VideoSetup crashes when I start it
