First of all I HAVEN`T PLAYED THE GAME but after reading its description I already have a problem with understanding the setting idea.
Playing as a saboteur during WWII seems to be a great idea for gameplay but why set the game in France which is known to be fairly acquiescent for nazi occupants (that would explain why the main character is Irish). Why not choose Yugoslavia or Poland, where the resistance was probably hardest (arguably)? Why not choose Belgium or Norway if you insist on western Europe? Even better: Germany - play as a saboteur right under Hitlers nose! Why, oh why, of all choices, why France and Paris? I see no reasonable justification for this choice.
PS. Sure this is just a game and thus is mostly fictional but the creators decided on WWII as a setting.
PSS. I mean no disrespect to any resistance fighters during WWII or any nation - it was a total war and they all did what they deemed necessary for survival.
