radeon 6650 xt, ryzen 5 3500 and 2x8gb RAM
First time launching the game it starts with 800x600 or something and scaled down into the centre of my screen. I change videosettings via the provided executable to 1080p which is what my monitor is. but now when I launch the game, everything is scaled to the screen size but it's still 800x600 with with pixels looking like huges squares and a AA filter on top that blurs those pixel square a bit but not close to enough to hide the fact that it's 800x600 displayed on 1080p monitor. I then actually start the game, and the screen just goes black in game. It seems my ViewSonic monitor even just goes off when I'm in game. When I change the view to a different window, the monitor shows the ViewSonic logo as if it just started and going back to the game my monitor is as dark as if it's not even on.
Edit: Maybe I should check again but I'm pretty sure I have a 144Hz screen and have played plenty of games with 144Hz, but somehow dropping down to 60Hz fixed it
