Just bought this and gave it a shot, works in 1440p 60hz all setting maxed out, and I'm well over 4 cores:

Ryzen 5 2600
32GB Ram 3200
2070 RTX
Win 10 1909
All patches latest
Edit: Aye GOG added the EXE code patch check the attached image!

Hi!

Recently bought the game, and I am having the issue where it cannot initalize the graphics card.
I've tried setting the game into Windowed mode by editing the config which did not resolve the issue.
The game is completely updated and I've tried it with admistrator on compatibility for every option there is.

is there any idea why this issue occurs or what can be done at this point?

Same here, guess it's a win 64 bit issue. Game just optimized for win 32 bit. Sad, not able to play this game..:-(

Pls try this, worked for me. Paste this in the "Saboteur" config.ini under mygames.

- windowed 1 ist important
- screen width und height u change the way you want, eg 1920x1080

Hi! So, before I begin, I want to specify that I am trying to play this game off an old physical retail copy of the game. I've tried installing Patch 1.03b (although I can't verify if it actually installs) and it did nothing. I installed the Jackfuste's CPU fix and it both allowed me to launch the game even without the play disc in the drive but it just forever hangs on the first loading screen.

I've tried installing it on both an SSD and an HDD to see if it would make a difference but nothing.

Just got a new laptop.

Lenovo Legion 5 Pro 16"
Windows 10 Pro
Ryzen 7 5800H
16 GB Ram
GeForce RTX 3070

On a whim I decided to try this game. And using the Jackfuste patch, it runs perfectly (other that the low res graphics from the day).

Sorry to necro, but I am writing in case somebody else has this problem, had exact the same issue on my retail copy, so the solution is to use no cd patch but copy everything except the .exe file and it works

I have Windows 11 and this game doesn't open for me.

I have the GoG version, fully patched from GoG, tried Windowed mode, copying the config file settings others have posted, manually swapped the exe for the mega linked one, tried compatibility mode for XP or windows 7. Nothing works.

My screen simply goes black for a moment, flashes a little white screen, and then goes back to my desktop.

This is running on an i7 6 core with AMD Radeon Pro 5300M GPU.

In my case, the resolution for this issue was installing the game on the same partition, where the Windows is installed. For some reason the game did not like being installed anywhere else
