Every time I quit the game, my screen is blank/black and I have to hard reset my PC.

I have an i7 and GTX 1080. Any one else experiencing this?

I get the same thing. It's certainly a bug in the game, as I recall this problem even on the original disc release and across multiple PCs.

I just pull up my task manager (Process Hacker) and terminate the process. Because The Saboteur blocks the primary display, I either have to keep Process Hacker on the secondary display or move it there via the alt+space, m, arrow key method.

I have a GTX 1070 and have the same issue. Restarting just the monitor works though, so I don't have to restart the whole computer.

I'll give that a try next time, thanks.
I get the same issue. For me it also happened with No Mans Sky and The Witcher 2. At first I assumed I had driver issues, but now it's happening agai with The Saboteur.

getlogan, what do You mean with "restarting just the monitor"?

EDIT: As a partial solution I can suggest running the game in windowed mode.
Documents>My Games>The Saboteur>SaveGames and in config file add "Windowed 1"

Odd. I just started getting this exact problem in Jade Empire, also with a Nvidia card (though it is a much older model), running the latest drivers. Has not happened with Saboteur yet (that wouldn't even launch with the new drivers at first), but considering this is probably the third distinct issue I have had since upgrading to those drivers, I suspect they may be the problem.
I have this problem when I "Alt-Tab" while playing. When I quit the game the screen freezes and I have to hard reset the PC.
It doesn't happen if I I just play a continous game session without any interruption.
So , when it happens I have to Alt-Tab, I don't quit the game as usual, but I Alt-Tab to the desktop and then I terminate the process with the task manager.
