Never had this problem before playing the game on win7 back in the day(gog version),but now with win10,with the same 360 controller every time a press LT or RT my camera start to spin around(LT to the left,RT to the right) for some reason it's like, if I would do it with my sticks.....has no sense...Checked the config of the game and everything mapped as it should, but still doesn't work as it has to be.Any way to solve this problem?

SOLVED
I had to go to my config file located in My Documents - My Games - The Saboteur and in InputTemplates file I had to delete everything below OTHER GAMEPAD - it fixed the problem

This worked for me:

Unplug your gamepad, launch the game, then when you have control of Sean plug the gamepad back in

This worked for me. Just bought the game after seeing it featured in a video on YouTube. The Xbox controller was all messed up for me (random scrolling, spinning camera, etc.). Deleting the data below "OTHER GAMEPAD" solved everything. Controller works perfectly now. Thanks!
Thanks! It worked for me as well.
If by any chance someone is reading this and can't find the 'InputTemplates' located in 'My Documents', you can find the config file in GOG Galaxy - xxxxx - The Saboteur.

Cheers

Maybe a bit late for yourself but if anybody else is having the same issue, i found the file in the main install directory.

This was a big help. I'm new to this platform and PC gaming in general, so I had a rough time getting my controller sorted.

OMG! Thank you a lot! Worked with XBOX 360 Controller!
Here is the simplest solution: Start the game, first use your mouse and keyboard to operate Sean once, and then plug in the controller, and the rotation problem is solved.
By the way, do anyone konws how to run the game with 120Hz?

LTTP I know, but was having odd issues using an Xbox (not 360) controller with this game - mouse was active, prompts where flipping constantly between KB and Controller symbols and it was generally a mess. Once I tracked down the InputTemplates file (mine was in the main GOG install directory) and nuked the OTHER GAMEPAD section, it's all good now. Thanks!
