a_life_hacker: To solve the issue with the mouse in the bottom-right corner in the pottery minigame on a Mac:
In short, there reason for this issue seems to be the games access permission to the Mac OS controls. It's a security precaution from the OS. The game/developers seem to use it the wrong way. So the access has to be deactivated. I did not see any side effects and do not know why the game needs control access anyway...
Here is what to do:
Open the MacOS System Preferences (Apple menu -> System Preferences). Then select "Security and Privacy", click on the "Privacy" tab and remove the checkbox for the "There Red String Club" app/game.
Hey
a_life_hacker:
I followed your advice (that seemed so promising) but it was a no go.
I re-installed the game today to test your idea. I checked and the bug is as healthy as ever, so I opened The
Security & Privacy area of the
System Preferences, and clicked the tab you mention, BUT, there was no
The Red Strings Club game there, as your screenshot suggests.
There were a couple of other apps present, but not the game, so nothing's changed, the mini-game is still cursed with that game-braking bug ergo TRSC is unplayable.
It was a good moment of hope what you gave me, though, so at least I thank you for that.
CHeers mate!
