The accessibility hotkey default keybind is Ctrl. Learning to utilize this hotkey will save you much time and effort.
By holding this key, the following may be accomplished:

When accessing an inventory and the mouse cursor is over an item, all items of that type will be transferred with one click.
When building, with each click you will continue to place new buildings of the selected type until you run out of materials. Great for spamming platforms.
Also when building, with the scroll wheel you can rotate buildings in 90 degree increments.
When crafting, with each click you can continue to craft until you run out of materials.

The what, now... I think I've been doing this unconsciously from playing other games like Subnautica and Factorio.
I didn't even realize Ctrl was a keybind in this game.

At least for throwing out of the inventory it does not work, you have to click on each object. It's good that, at least, there is automatic sorting.
