Hey folks. I have been a fan of Bellular’s YouTube content for a while and I wanted to start by thanking everyone involved with that content. I want to support the team and buying a game I am interested in anyway seemed like the best way all around. I have a few questions regarding the GoG versions of your game before I commit myself to it though.

1) Is the GoG version fully DRM-free and offline playable?
2) Will the GoG version be kept current with versions on other platforms, like Steam? (Several devs have treated GoG as more of an afterthought by intentionally delaying any content/feature/QoL updates)
3) Are there any plans for expansions/content additions (free or paid) and will they treated like the main game in regards to my previous question?
4) Is there a demo version available here on GoG that I am just not seeing?

I unfortunately haven’t found the answers to the above, so if you folks have already answered them somewhere, feel free to call me an idiot and then advise me where those answers are.

Wouldn't hold my breath for these questions getting answered here any time soon.

Should be blatantly obvious from all the plugging and shilling for Scheme where their focus lies. They probably will keep the GOG release up-to-date and on par for the time being, but if sales on GOG aren't matching whatever expectations they might have this could change for the worse. Wouldn't be the first time, as past cases have shown.

As I alluded to in the release thread over in General discussion - with how aggressively they've been pushing for picking up TPB on Scheme - and ONLY on Scheme (makes me wonder why they even bothered with releasing on other platforms as well) - they mustn't be surprised and wonder why sales on other platforms like GOG are not meeting expectations.

As for the first question - I just wrapped a first session of around 1,5 hours on my offline machine installing from the offline installers and without any Galaxy bullshit involved at any point - didn't notice anything out of the order.
Seems to be indeed 100% DRM-free, so far at least.
1) Not tested myself, but looking at the reply above it would seem it is :)

2) Currently it seems the devs are indeed planning to keep the GOG version up-to-date with the Steam version, though it might lag behind a bit (cannot add links apparently right now, but there's a reply from the devs in the steam community on the "1.2.1.00" post stating "non-steam sites there's a little delay time for them to get hotfixes and updates").

As this is their first game as a studio (as far as I know), there isn't really a track-record. So it could go either way in the long-term. Though looking at the type of game, unless they add DLC, I’m not sure how long bug-fix releases are need in the long-term anyway (except if you include compatibility with future hardware/software, though that’s probably a different discussion).

3) You could ask in the question in the Steam community, they do seem to be active over there.

4) Seems like they completely pulled the demo for the time being (also on Steam). Devs confirmed removing the demo as they want to focus on the release, but again, cannot add a link to the source as otherwise GOG doesn't allow me to post (probably some spam protection for accounts that haven't used the forum enough).
The game looks amazing, I'm enjoying playing it but I had to stop because I can't save the game every now and then. Unfortunately I don't have much time to play and the save times are too long. Do you have an estimate of when you will adjust this save period? Thanks. So I can play again
