From what I remember of Fallout 3 (and I would assume New Vegas), the game world was presented as a dystopia depicting some sort of horrific existence after a nuclear war... and with a good bit of humor thrown in, which I didn't personally care for. Plus an open world full of areas that mostly looked generally the same... and a story that wasn't that interesting.
Looking at the Outer Worlds... it's looking like this will be basically Fallout in space, right? In other words, a game about humans attempting to colonize another world, and life on the colony ends up being terrible (a dystopian story), but with some attempts at comedy, much like we saw with Fallout 3.
Is that correct?
So I shouldn't expect this to be a space opera RPG with an epic story like Mass Effect 2, am I right?
