According to GOG's blurb, "Rich world building based on British architecture" and "Immerse yourself in Great Britain of the 80s, with over 3 hours of original music from 80's Brit-pop, classical concertos and acoustic ballads.".

Looking at the screenshots, that's not a version or any era of Britain that I ever lived through. Puzzling. Doersn't make me want to play it, it that's what they think Britain looked like.

Maybe I'm missing it but checking the GOG store page for this game I don't see it say this is meant to be in the UK or the 80s. Where did it show you this is taking place there in the 80s?

Hey caribet - one of the devs here! We took a lot of influence from our surroundings as our studio is based in Manchester and our environment artist lives in Liverpool so you should see a lot of architectural references. We also created a custom 80's soundtrack for the game and spent a lot of time of the character's clothing design and world set dressing to really try and set the era. What is it about the game you don't think is authentic? (just asking cause all feedback is great and would love to know how we're able to improve! :) )
