I wonder why the game is written like this. Wouldn't the correct form be "The Lords of Midnight"?

I confess that "Lords of Midnight, The" bothers me a little.

Names of subforums are displayed in alphabetical order, setting article "the" in front would distort this order. It is quite common practice in such cases.
