I wonder how far Mike Singleton got in making 'Eye of the Moon'. I had heard many years ago that he had completed a substantial amount of the game. Does anyone know if that rumour is genuine?
Let's imagine it is for a moment...
Now, if there were any surviving data, be it in the form of actual programming, and/or what Mike had done in the way of notes/sketches/anything of note really. Could it be feasible for someone to make a version using the same engine that is used in the pc ports of Midnight, and Doomdark's Revenge, to realise a version of the game, as close to what Mike would have done on the Spectrum?
That would be amazing to see.
I wonder if any fan has ever recreated their impression of what Eye of the Moon would be, and if there are any decent attempts out there?
Just wondering, as this was a game I used to pine for when I was a kid.
