Hi! So I'm very new to this game, never having played it the first go around and only put a short amount of time into so far (I've only picked up one additional character).

How do I join two or more characters together? I saw "how" to do it in the game PDF, but I can't get it to work in game. Is there some trick I'm missing? Or maybe it's the fact that certain characters can't be grouped? I'm attempting to stack the starting "main character mage" (I forget his name) with Luxor and his army. What might I be missing here?

*edit* Oh and this would be for Doomdark's Revenge, not TLOM.

They need to be at the same location, that's all.
On the select screen, all characters at the same location as the current character will have a circle round them. SO the easiest way is to select the lord who you want to be the leader of the group, then go back to the select screen and drag the lords from the same location on to him. As you drag a large circle will show up showing that the grouping can take place.

Great thank you very much! Haven't tried this yet in game, but I know I never noticed a circle around characters to indicate they were at the same location so I'm pretty sure I just wasn't paying attention to that cue. Again thanks for the answer! Also, hopefully it never gets old hearing it but wonderful job on the game! (from my short time here I'm pretty sure I've picked up on the fact that you're the one responsible for the update of this series?) It's really beautiful and there's a quiet simplicity to it that I've enjoyed in my short time so far.

Many thanks... and no, it never gets old! :)
