I am playing The Longest Journey for the first time. I am close to the end of Chapter 5. I gave the last map to the woman in the inn and told her to see captain Nebenay. Then I wanted to finish the business with my employer: the mapseller even if my delivery list was missing (should it be?). I have an impression the conversation was buggy: April and the mapseller were cutting in each other lines, so it was impossible to understand the dialogue. I did not receive any object from him, either. Then, I went to the ship. Captain Nebenay and the navigator weren' there. Same for the old guy in the pier, the innkeeper, Tobias, all the major NPCs. Does anyone have the same problem?

Never mind, problem solved. The dialogue with the mapseller triggers upon reaching the stalls and I clicked on him. As a result, two conversations were going at the same time. And Tobias didn't disappear, he is just a bit further in the temple.
