Is there any way to up the resolution on this game?

And i have heard forcing AA can cause problems, is this true for all cards?

Thanks.

No. It's 2.5D, so you can't get the sprites bigger than they already are.

Yes, most likely.

It might seem disappointing but TLJ looks decently well as it is...
Well i have managed to get it in windowed with my native resolution at 1024x768 in the centre of the screen now, the window is a lot bigger so i can see more.

and im not having the AA issues i was in fullscreen.

the tree at the start isn't dissapearing anymore, must be a full screen AA issue. :)

the characters are smooth now so it looks better.

can't wait to get into this game, heard a lot about it.

Why would you play it in windowed mode? Go to where The Longest Journey is installed and right click on Game.exe I have Windows 7 so go to compatibility mode and set it to run in Windows XP (Service Pack 3) and check "Run in 640 x 480 screen resolution check Disable visual themes and Disable desktop composition and then check run as administrator hit apply and OK. After that the game should be running in native 640x480 mode .. I use a 32" Vizio HDTV and it supports 640x480 so this may not work for everyone. If the image don't fit my TV will adjust it but I dont see any reason a monitor wouldn't support 640x480 if that don't work you can download apps that will force 640x480 but I wouldn't suggest it unless the monitor supports that resolution. If anyone needs help I may record a video on how to do this.
How did you get it into a window in the first place? It just ignores if I set preferences.ini bool_StartFullscreen to 0 ...
