Stuck in Dr. Romans office, every time I try to exit through the door the game goes straight to desktop. Tried restarting several times, also reinstalled the game. Any ideas?

Hi, still having this issue? i got the same problem but i manage to fixed it (touchwood) i'm not sure bout your pc specs. Try enable a 3GB switch like this youtube video http://youtu.be/cTQLPgLay_Y if you got only 3 GiG of RAM like mine put 2560 on the perimeter, if you have plenty of RAM 4GIG^just follow the instruction. In game setting i put mine all Low, no eye candy like depth of field etc.. Give it a try see if it fixed your problem..

The game would shut off before I can play with it how can I play it without shutting down

April sinks the ship. It sinks into the reefs and the game ends. I have reloaded and used the axe several times; and even backed up and did the entire chapter over from when it set sail. Same results. I have plenty of RAM and a GTX560Ti video card. I've saved several times during the ship and storm sequence.
