I thought to go back and finally finish this game. Whenever I try to save though, the fool thing crashes. Can anyone help me with this problem? I have a Toshiba laptop that runs Windows 8.1

I had a similar problem, but I discovered that it only happened when I was trying to save over an EXISTING save game. I this what's happened to you? I found my problem went away if I just saved a new file every time I wanted to save.

Yes, it did. When i try to exit the game, it happens as well. Do you have any way to fix that?

Not a good one, no. When it locks up when I try to quit, I just have to CTRL-ALT-DEL and open the task manager, manually shut down TLG, then alt-tab away to restore full mouse functionality.
