Until last weekend the game was working normally - I had just escaped Friar's Keep - but today it stopped. When I try to start the game (with or without compatibility mode, as administrator or not) nothing happens. The process appears in the process list, using a small amount of memory, but the game never starts. During this the "using hard disk" led stays always on, and the system becomes really slow.
I re-installed the game (in a different folder) and uninstalled all system updates made this week, but the problem persists.
It's not a big loss (I was only replaying the game before Chapter's launch), but it does not make sense :P
EDIT: I'm on a Windows 7 Ultimate.
